Balloon flights take place shortly after dawn and 2 hours before sunset and you can meet us in Mareeba or request a piockup in Cairns. Good flying conditions are light winds, no rain and good visibility. We usually cover between 5 and 15
Kilometres, depending on the windspeed.
Our location for
flying is Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands - juts one hour inland from Cairns due to its unusual topography
and protected Valley we have some of the best flying conditions anywhere in
the World - available year-round every day of the year
After landing, our friendly and professional Crew, who are in radio contact with the pilot, will
find us and we then encourage all our guest to take part in the fun pf
packing up the balloon.
After we land, you will be offered refreshments, snacks and bubbly and your flight certificate.
A special camera rigged on the balloon will take a commemorative photograph during the flight. This and other souvenirs will be available for purchase.
